I don’t usually do updates this early in the book but fuck me, miscommunication tropes frustrate me! Bash literally sent Gwen a text the moment his plane land is so not even like a few hours later and then sent Gwen a follow up two weeks after that and then he thinks that you ghosted him when in reality you didn’t get text messages but why why?!?! And why can’t either of them just mention it?

I don’t think Elsie silver can write anything badly. Loved her chestnut springs series, absolutely adoring this series so far, and most likely will enjoy everything else she writes for the rest of time.

Not loving it to be honest. Very confusing with time changes and it’s fairly boring

As an audiobook it’s mildly confusing when they jump from present to past and back, except it’s not made obvious that we are time jumping.

I think I have to DNF this. I just can’t do it

I’ve run out of Audiobook listening hours on my bloody Spotify and it’s only the start of the month 🥲 half way through the book, just as stuff starts going in the direction I want it to go 🥲
