I feel confused about the whole "how Dara was freed from being a slave and then later resurrected" bit. The magic explanation doesn't make sense. Hopefully it's not important to the plot.

It's kind of weird to start reading Frae's point of view when we are already halfway through the book. I feel like maybe it should have been introduced earlier. She is a very sweet character though.
