I’m also starting to wonder what bad exactly WWX actually has done (previous life)? Idk he just doesn’t seem to have a villain personality, something feels off. Also JC just figured out it’s actually WWX cuz of his dog fear, GGs it’s joever🫡💀

I’m curious to see what LWJ actually thinks of WWX later down the line. Obviously he was annoyed with him in the flashback, but WWX’s bullying had affection behind it wether he knew it or not. Also curious that he’s “never angry anymore” and all that hidden alcohol, I’m assuming bro doesn’t gaf about the world anymore after his “wife” died. He just like me frfr💀

This is such a goofy read and I’m all for it. WWX is so unserious, actual goblin, bullying LWJ at every given moment I can’t. Decided to start on this series today, so far I’m really enjoying it! Really like WW’s backstory and whatever supernatural shit he’s got going on. So much drama already, he’s literally just a Hollywood housewife causing drama for no reason lmaooo💀

Hundred pages in and I can’t tell if this book is trying so fucking hard to be actual serious feminist literature and failing miserably, or if it’s satire and making fun of feminism and women knowingly. And honestly I don’t know what’s worse lmao. The whole writing style is giving g.i.r.l. and it’s so sad man. I’ll continue reading, hoping for ANYTHING good, but damn it man :(

… ngl, so far I am so bored reading this. This book is very episodic and doesn’t really follow a “main story” (not yet at least?). But I guess that’s what you get with a 1vol-only series. Lot of time and place jumping, and introducing characters that really don’t matter. Idk it all just feels so fetish-coded instead of making me care for the actual character couple.

Kinda fun to read Johnny’s notes, feels like you’re live reacting together with someone lol. Although not as fun when he decides to break the 4th wall and creep the reader out for no reason (bro why😭). Meanwhile the Navidson’s are losing their marbles over this tiny closet room that randomly appeared. Bro calling all of the avengers for help at this point💀

So from what I understand; there are two stories going on at the same time atm and they both got a specific font to distinguish which is which? One seems to be Johnny’s journal, the other a documentation surrounding the Navidson family and the house. Very interesting concept, I dig it. However, I am struggling to read the different fonts. I read even slower than what I normally do, but it is what it is.
