same strange perspective. but objectively it has a good history

so good. but im reading it for school and i think my teacher doesnt get that the bug is not the bad thing here. it's probably just a different interpretation, but i feel like its the way other people see him thats bad, not what he actually is

ive been hearing stuff about how revisionist historians havent been so truthful or their history isnt exactly what happened and its pretty obvious he goes into everything against israel and definitely ben gurion

really good, i like how he interrupts intense moments with trivial thoughts. also i think this book was really influenced by kafka growing up in a ghetto and being jewish

still interesting, but its annoying how much hes only attacking israel's policies, whether they seem good or bad

im learning things i didnt know before, ben-gurion being really military, not wanting to make deals

good writing, similar to From Beirut to Jerusalem, a good history as well, very detailed
