currently so upset w a person who is in fact a fictional character. it's just so easy to not ruin other people's lives ????? oh my GOSH. what IS WRONG with YOU can't believe I have to sleep knowing this just happened (200 years ago and also in a fictional world) (but fiction is always more truthful than not which makes it even WORSE). Just started book 3 in my pomodoro breaks while writing final papers for grad school. *Chef's kiss* Strong Harry Potter for slightly less young adults vibes

sorry for abusing this app. new void to scream into just unlocked :) still my go to read atm but but but I will say I've felt a dip in the writing quality since the halfway mark. Not sure what happened but suddenly it's feeling more like "telling" about the world than showing it. Kind of like listing things off, but maybe that's bound to happen in the arena vs the lead up idk

idk what she puts in these books to make them so addicting but dang. all I wanna do is read this book
