⭐ DNF

This book had so much hype, and I was genuinely excited to dive in—especially after reading Satan’s Affair, which was a total page-turner with great twists. But once I started Haunting Adeline, it just didn’t grab my attention. I made it to about 11%, and nothing pulled me in or made me want to keep turning pages.

I don’t want to fully put it in my DNF pile yet, because I may come back to it later

Ok look. I am all for a reverse harem but come on this is way to much. It is a great story filled with tones of suspense I just wish that they would stop introducing new characters. I am also sure that it is a build up for book3.

I like the story — it’s gory, intense, and definitely dark — but I’m struggling to stay focused. It’s taking me longer to get through than I expected, even though the plot itself is solid

I’m really enjoying this story! It’s well written, and I love how every character adds something important to the plot. The mystery keeps building in such an interesting way, and the connections between everyone are slowly coming together.

I do wish it wasn’t such a slow burn, though—I’m ready for things to move a bit faster! And I’d definitely like to see more from Asher’s POV; he’s a fascinating.
