When did it become an optional thing actually to proofread your book? There are so many missing words that just make me pause while reading.

The ideas are not bad but the book looks like a maybe third draft without anyone proofreading it. Passages feel inserted at the wrong place in the timeline, whole paragraphs are almost identical, spelling issues, wrong names and pronouns and words missing.

Overall it's a Hades x Persephone which borrows a lot from greek mythology but not completely. I am not quite sure I like this almost but not quite world-building as you start assuming one thing and then learn it is different.

The time when it is better the book is rushed because there is less time for sub par writing skills. Feels like a first draft of an idea but as I like the general idea, I keep reading.

So far it is 90% being angry about what she did before and hating herself for being attracted to the guy. And yes, he is an ah. But everything that made the first one good is missing.

I know you all love your comfort tropes but please, be a tad more creative. It doesn't always have to be the last of a line or royalty or both. Not going to dnf about it as this was hinted at from the first book but still.
