I started reading this book a few years ago, but then the news started focusing on a new virus, and my throat started hurting, and my obsessive nature couldn’t quite focus on the fiction as fiction. COVID was wild, man. I always wanted to come back to this.

The first thing this book asks of you is to go reread the creation story with fresh eyes, which leads me to realise our ancestors were really angry at agriculture.

Would’ve DNF’ed but I couldn’t sleep and figured this boring book might help with that. Reading a bunch of one star reviews afterwards proved a thousand times more interesting.
