The writing and inner thoughts of both of the main characters keep contracting each other. One second they’re doing it because of this, the next oh maybe it’s because of this, nope, it’s back to this. The MMC keeps referring to “how long” he’s known his bff and they’ve been through so much, his “player” history has been a ruse for so long…you’re 22…it’s not that long ago. Also he’s blonde
