What a great climax to the story.

Clear takes on Nietzsche and Bergson so far. Been a while since I’ve felt so excited about a philosopher. Very explosive and making some of theoretical moves of Steinberg and other anime scholars clearer to me. The translator’s introduction was confused and felt addressed to the imaginary opponents of Lazzarato rather than the first time reader of Lazzarato (who really is the more likely reader of the text).

Improvement on the last book, which was already good. Maybe I’m just less familiar with the troped character of lesbian fiction than gay fiction, but these ones feel really original to me. Loving the romance dynamic.

I started counting how many times ‘male’ is used to refer to a person, mostly as a joke, but it’s becoming a page-by-page distraction. Anyway, it’s delightful.
