As I'm currently reading one book with constant potential for peril and another that is insanely complex, re-entering Emma's world is quite refreshing.

Normally I push back against complaints that if characters had just communicated, they could have avoided so much trouble, because that's how relationships work in real life, but GIRL IF YOU HAD JUST COMMUNICATED you moron. 🤦‍♀️

First impression: from the cover and description I was not expecting the mention of a TV, haha

Oooh, one of my reading pet peeves. The book description mentions a plot point that doesn't happen until near the end of the book. Y'ALL. That's a spoiler, not something that you put on the back cover. 😒
