The mmc definitely got better than at the start but MANN I just don’t like the way this book is written or the pacing of the plot… I am interested in the world though and the other characters, I just want this to be over its too long for a story that’s not so interesting. Like we’re 402 pages in and they’re finally together but the main plot hasn’t progressed at all 🫠 its only starting to now

I hate that I come back to this even when its so so terribly bad…. Anyways he just severed the hand of the man who harassed her, that’s a redeeming point to all the shit he did early on
