It took awhile to get into but I’m enjoying it now. There’s a little less uniqueness to this story compared to the other two as the unremarkable person stumbles into an adventure tale is much more tried and true than the adventurer settles down to open a coffee shop and live an NPC life mystique of the first books.

Cute just as cozy as the last two.

Really interesting and toes the line well so far between depth while still being approachable to someone like me who is not all that familiar with this period of time in history and mythology.

So far the plot of the musical is much more similar to the plot of this novel than I expected. It’s also, without consideration of the musical, a much more interesting read than something like Dracula, in my opinion. Much more action and more captivating.
