So far the plot of the musical is much more similar to the plot of this novel than I expected. It’s also, without consideration of the musical, a much more interesting read than something like Dracula, in my opinion. Much more action and more captivating.

Intriguing story. I wasn’t sure if I was interested in the Queen herself but her perspective is actually pretty neat.

Pretty good definitely has the feel like it was the author’s DnD campaign

At first the different characters confused me but now I’m really enjoying them and the story.

Starting to grab me. Has almost an Andor vibe to it between the different characters all oppressed in different ways and trying to help the fathom folk in their own ways.
