It’s interesting but for some reason it hasn’t really sucked me into the world like books usually do.

Curious how this book ends and whether it’s predictable because I feel like Frieda is spoon feeding me that something bad is going to happen since she ends every chapter with “I have a bad feeling about this”…. Don’t really feel like it’s necessary to spell it out for us since it’s pretty easy to read that in the situations

At first I didn’t like that we were taking a break from following Aelin given the cliff hanger of the last book, but I think the depth of character SJM is giving Chaol is really good. As he’s fighting his own self hatred and hoping to be healed I really feel the emotion from the book and truly feel so sad for him as he works through this.

Super short chapters. Very interesting mystery.

Part 3 is dragging a little bit.

Been a really interesting read. Action packed. certain parts of the book then you realize their purpose later in the book which I like a lot.

It’s been really fun to read and recognize characters from the later books and learn more parts of their story. I’m curious to see how the book ends and makes Haymitch the Haymitch we know in the later books.
