Murray begins his little book by emphasizing that—unlike the predominant narrative in churches—humility is NOT about realizing our sinfulness. Rather, humility is realizing our place as CREATURES. True humility is to place our entire dependence on God.

I wish my pen had the proper eloquence to describe the encouragement this book has been to my soul. Faith’s interaction with Grace expressed simply and earnestly.

PRAISE BE TO GOD- moved to tears this evening. Past sins weigh mightily. I remain far too ungodly. How to wrestle with my depravity?
