Miss reading and writing so much 😔🙏 This past month has been the craziest in so long… I went on a two week work trip, adopted a traumatized rescue cat and his sick brother, and even got engaged!!! Excited for the changes but I want my quiet life back and I just miss having quiet hours to read. I am definitely never having a baby lol!!!

So crazy to read this as someone who grew up 20 minutes from her and also had batshit fucking mother who was deliriously religious. The entire landscape of her world feels exactly like mine: stops at Rite-Aids, knowing people who worked at Disneyland, going to Polly’s Pies and Westminster Mall… I’ve never seen it written out!!!

This has to be my favorite book of the year so far... I CANNOT put it down 😭 💔

Great news: I don't have HIV but I DO still have a treatment-resistant mouth infection 🤩 Will only be reading the lightest stupidest things until I get better loll (the drugs are killing me 😭)
