Absolutely phenomenal, the most densely packed and thorough amount of information. Starts with the energy humans get from nuts, how much energy a human can yield working a farm by hand versus horse versus mills. Takes its time and completely neutral tone with an onslaught of information.

The intro is a little eye rolly, it pretty quickly gets deep into a well thought out thesis with many valuable references. A good tone that isn’t completely alarmist, but firm in its message.

Is a little yuck yucky (note: jokey okey, or even funny hunny), lots of notes and notes on notes. In general covers topics thoroughly and if you enjoy quippy comedic tone, this will be a fantastic book for you.
