So far, this book is kino. This is my first Triana book, and he is straight COOKIN so far.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who knows their slasher movies.

It's got me in the feels a bit too, but it might be because I'm on my period.

It's getting a tad bit better. I'm kinda lukewarm on this one. Pre-rating it at a 3 stars but that could potentially go up or down

I'm not crazy about this one so far. I know the book has a post apocalypse plot and isn't just about babies in blenders.

While I do like that the bad guys in this apocalypse are really similar to The Omega Man mutants with a smidge of the cannibals from Ketchum's Dead River trilogy, I think a lot of the action scenes could be more well done and I don't think the book yet earns some of its overly disturbing scenes.

A character purchases E.C. comics reprints from a comic book store. That is a kino reference if there ever was one gotttt dayummm

Fuck man... This book started off pretty good. Unfortunately this is yet another AB book that randomly has sections ghostwritten by a moronic fratboy trying to be funny.

Maybe it'll stick the landing but I'm disappointed in some of the character regressions and a scene that could have been impactful and disturbing had it not taken a turn so stupid that it'd neither interesting, scary or funny.

Why does the Slob and his biological son both have elephantitus of the nutsack?

Wow, I was just gonna read 50 pages before bed, and I "just one more page"d it till I hit 104 pages.

Unfortunately, this book is legit scary, and now I have to go to bed.

Why won't Joe Pesci be nice to Highball?

This one definitely leans more into humor than the first installment, and boy is it hilarious most of the time.

I'm about an eighth of the way through and I've laughed out loud several times already.

I'm just not crazy about the violence towards children and animals in the manner depicted, but that's personal preference I guess.
