so well written but deeply depressing. here’s two quotes from the last chapter i’ve read:

- “a male GP once earnestly said to me, ‘i’ve never had a fibromyalgia patient who wasn’t batshit crazy’”
- endo patients are often viewed by “their treating doctors as ‘reproductive bodies with hysterical tendencies’”

even just the fist three pages are powerful - being cursed with a disease but not wanting to be seen as sick

this book was VERY hard to find. manchester city library didn’t have a copy and i had to get one from the uni library - hasn’t been taken out since 2005

really not enjoying this but i don’t want to give up 😫
