I think I hate this book.

Nevermind the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Linton Heathcliff is an asshole just like his dad, Heathcliff is abusive and imprisoned Cathy and Nelly, forcing Cathy to marry Linton. I’m seriously rushing through this book just to get it over with.

The second half of the book is annoying but a lot more bearable. Young Cathy Linton is just lovesick over her sick and frail COUSIN.

Everyone is dramatic, clueless, selfish and a dick.

Is everyone just a dick in this book?

Noah is the last witness to be called. I can’t look.

We’re in trial, but I almost don’t want it to end!

It’s getting intense! Just finished part one, and I learned Claire is the other woman and that the main girlfriend Lilah is either severely injured or dead. Not sure if her relationship with Noah was ever real. More to come.

So far this is a fun, quick read with short chapters. I’m busy getting into Claire’s mind and world while trying to figure out the mystery. Was she really in a relationship with Noah? Is he real? What is reality?
