I needed the audiobook to get me to this point, finally Aurora is being less of a bitch 🥲 Gawd what an irritating character.

Hmmm I have a strong feeling that this story isn’t for me. I haven’t been able to connect with the FMC, she’s just too much of a bitch for me 😂

Okay now that didn’t make any sense. She had a way to reach the Starmaker all these years, she coulda written a thousand letters begging him to save her sister, and she didn’t? Instead she went to a tomb and wishy wishy on a dead person?? Make that make sense…

Aurora’s a bitch at this point of time, and that’s that. Kept saying the Starmaker shoulda been more polite while she’s being a little brat with attitudes and blamed him for her being born with magic. Such a hateful character.

Okay that was a wee bit too long. It could have ended at 400 pages. I’m losing interest.

I think you do need to be in a certain mood to read this. Otherwise it’ll be sorta boring 😂 Or I just don’t vibe with romance that much.

The meeting and the you-must-come-with-me felt a bit rushed? I could get why she didn’t feel any admiration when she met the current Starmaker since it was the first that she heard story about, guessing she feels neutral about the current one? What I don’t get is why she didn’t just find and ask the same dude to save her sis instead of go wishing on a statue?

Not sure if I like this as book, guess I was under the wrong impression of what the book is about 😶 I made it here so might as well finish it, but this ain’t about life and death from my point of view.

Too much back story at times, I hope it’s all worth it to consume those details, it better set up a nice setting for the books to come.

holy fucken shit that was sooo satisfying. Okay I take back what I said, the lighter moments have come and I’m here for them!!!!

The time switch between chapters was a little confusing, took some time to get used to, but pretty captivating thus far.
A bit dark though, I wish there were lighter moments to ease up the darkness.

Entertaining, love how the story flows though I honestly don’t really care about Margaret’s entire lineage lol. Feels like the book could have been shorter since her lineage isn’t the point of the story??
