This is giving Metal Slinger SO hard.

We’ve got a princess FMC named Jory (Jovie?), two love interests, one being her childhood friend and the other the new guy she’s forced to be with. Even the names are so close: Ky (Kai), Asher (Acker). The FMC is in danger, so she goes on the run with one of the MMCs. He has powers and she doesn’t, but it sure looks like she’s about to.

The first 20% of this book is such a comfort read. I love the group dynamic, it feels like a perfect little bubble of happiness before breaking my heart again.

If the character I think is going to die actually dies…the sky will be heartless sky indeed.
