A welcome change of tone after the goriest book I’ve ever read

Summary thus far:
1. I can get away with less protein
2. I should probably eat more carbs
3. Milk = good

I like that the general summary is at the beginning instead of the end like most books

The charts in the chapter on strength-recovery-adaptation are particularly useless

Chapter on Fatigue Management is a banger, but some of the charts/graphs are confusing and/or useless

Not a fan so far. Science rarely referenced in the text, though the end of each chapter does list references, so maybe I’ll need to read those instead. Also hate reading on my phone

Font coloring is atrocious (light grey on white background), so had to invert the colors on my phone to make it possible to read

Takes too much brain power to read before bed

Definitely not a book I should be trying to read at 1am

Only like 25 years late to reading this
