It feels like the casual sexism is rampant in this book. I get that it's a reference to the societal norms during Byron's time, but it still makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable and disgusted.

This ending is so bittersweet. I can't believe I am done after those stories have been with me for such a long time.

I will definitely miss those two chaotic detectives.

I honestly can't find all the words to describe how much I appreciate the way Avery and Saga interact with each other.

Every time Saga finds out about something that's been hidden from her, she at first has an understandable level of confusion and anger, but instead of making it into a huge conflict, she tries to understand and gives Avery the room to explain. I need to see this more often in media.

Avery and Saga complement each other so well, this is what I mean when I say I want to see a balanced Sherlock and John dynamic in adaptations!

I am so close to just giving up on this. There is only so much condescension I can take.

Please tell me this is satire. That this behavior is some social commentary on the problematic of people with privilege and the whole "not like other girls" mentality.
Please say there is character development...
