This widely banned book is a fascinating dystopian fiction and satire. I really enjoy how it plays with the ways technology influences our language. Published in 2002, Anderson predicted tech like neurolink, cloud, and algorithms roughly around the time my family upgraded from dial up to broadband. My first read-through predated myspace and it was released 5 years before the first iPhone dropped.
