Really enjoying this Arthurian retelling so far. I’ve been obsessed with Camelot, Merlin, Arthur and the lot since I was young. This is my favorite reimagining of the legends since The Crystal Cave.

I’m about halfway through, and my only issue is that the author uses a few British terms that aren’t used here in the states. “Ring” instead of “call”, “revision notes” instead of “study notes”, “wardrobe” instead of “closet”, and closing texts between friends who are no longer close with “xo” and “xx”. It’s slightly jarring and disrupts the story.
