The dynamic between Lionel and Wren is everything that Arobynn SHOULD have been to Celaena if he wasn’t the worst. Found family and seeing the good in others without selfish intentions. Unique magic system and coexistence of humans/others. Every character is interesting and a stand alone on any of them would be great... which says a lot as very few books manage to draw you in to all main and secondary characters.
