love this series, every time i need to clear my mind there’s a book for that 🧎‍♀️

man, i wish i could live in that era of fashion fr the golden years of fashion “the moment” galliano was talking abt

been in a slump for a while but i am back @ being literate

what’s truly remarkable about the writing is that i don’t like a sister better than the rest, i am not eager to only read one of the sisters’ chapter which to me is a testament to great storytelling.

you know what this book made me realise? no matter where we are geographically or how architectural digest leaning our interiors look like; we are the same fucked up people mentally. just our zip code changed man. but anyway i hope avery doesn’t relapse or leave her wife.

it’s been many years since i read coco mellors’ words but it’s still intact how she can make you feel so familiar with her writing. also crude to say but my first thought was: did they kill off the boring sister…? it’s just all the other girls their highs are so high and their lows so very low. their worlds feel so animating compared to what we know so far of nicky.

james baldwin’s way with words >
he was quite literally describing dust and it felt like the most profoundly beautiful sentence i have ever had the pleasure of literacy to read
