what’s truly remarkable about the writing is that i don’t like a sister better than the rest, i am not eager to only read one of the sisters’ chapter which to me is a testament to great storytelling.

it’s been many years since i read coco mellors’ words but it’s still intact how she can make you feel so familiar with her writing. also crude to say but my first thought was: did they kill off the boring sister…? it’s just all the other girls their highs are so high and their lows so very low. their worlds feel so animating compared to what we know so far of nicky.
