second short story finished: and i have to say the writing style choice of stream of consciousness captures so closely the torment of this woman protagonist’s consciousness.

and men i will never be a fond fan of you, you are evil for a hobby.

just finished the first story ‘age of discretion’ and goddamn it’s so hard to run your head around being alive sometimes and finding peace within yourself and the life you led and the future that doesn’t unravel with as much novelty as you carefully dreamt it.

her writing is so infectious i can’t convince myself to stop turning another and another page. i could read about piling potatoes for forever if she chose to write so.

i am four pages away from finishing this book and i am not ready, i can’t live without reading this everyday, no. i refuse.
