You can feel the magic in every ounce of the book. Stephanie garber has made my life filled with sparks and flurries of magic.

The declarations from august?? Got me kicking my feet. The main plot was kinda boring at the start but it actually got interesting!

The book is pretty interesting so far. There’s a lot of tension. Levi so far acts like he has no romantic feelings whatsoever with Dani (but we all know that he secretly does 😉) I can’t wait to see how this book will play out :)

Just started out, it’s just getting into the rest of the story so I don’t have any solid opinions.

Something about the POVs that this book has is there aren’t any boring ones. Sure, some characters have better POVs than others but it’s all readable. The book so far is pretty good. I expect it to get better.

By this point in the book, it’s very apparent who the lovers are going to be. You’ve got the author smushing August and Wren in dangerously sexy positions like a knife to the throat and catching Wren from falling. Don’t get me wrong, that’s hot and I’m all for it, but THIS early in the book? The plot is very laid out and somewhat easy to explain which is a good thing since some books hardly have a plot.

Pretty good. Paedyn and Kai kiss like four times at this point and they STILL have no confessed. It’s kinda silly lol. At this point they have every reason to NOT hate each other but they do the opposite.

Rosabelle is thoroughly entranced by James and she’s scared of it (which me too girl love can be scary). At this point in the book, I think that the Reestablishment is attacking (not sure how though) and I also think that we are cooked. I love the humor of all of the characters and the sight of them in a normal environment gives comfort. However, that comfort is about to be taken away soon.

Pretty good! It starts off action-packed and I have no idea what will happen next, which I like. James however, is way too stubborn. At times, it can get annoying to the point that he doesn’t respect what Rosabelle is trying to tell him but that doesn’t change his overall respect for her. It’s a fine balance but yes, James is slightly annoying lol.
