the writing is overly descriptive idk how i feel about it

this book series and author’s writing is reminding me of my love for reading.

it has two of my pet peeves in a book, lying as the main conflict where a character just utters the most devious thing instead of telling the truth, and now the lies are piling, and it has flashback chapters which i am also not a fan of unfortunately. but i like everything else about it so far lol

i feel like this would hit as a fall read so i may hold off till next month to continue reading

was sick and bedridden for three days with nothing to do so i binged… this is heartbreakingly painful but so good
