I’d like the romance if it made sense to me. We went from it being nonexistent between Meryn and Stark in the first book to them suddenly being obsessed with each other. The “no one talks to her that way” or “give me a name, and I’ll erase it from the earth” makes me roll my eyes. THEY don’t even understand why they feel this way so how can I understand 🥴

I reallyy love this book so far 🥹 physical books are a little more difficult for me to read these days so I’m getting through it a lot slower but I know I could devour this within a day or two if I had the ability to read physical books more often

I decided to start this one because some said this book was better than the first and so far, I agree. I’m really enjoying it and I like the new people who have been introduced. The mystery around Fía and this new world are also very intriguing so I’m hopeful!

Fighting for my life trying to finish this book

This series, along with From Blood & Ash, is like when you watch a really good movie so you decide to watch the sequel only to be left utterly disappointed and frustrated at how awful it turned out to be. I had to take a break from this one and I’m struggling to continue which sucks because I truly loved the start of it all

So far this book is soo cute and cozy 🥹 I really like Allie but Dominic’s grumpy attitude makes me curious as to why he’s like that. Can’t wait to continue reading

This book is frustrating me. Some things aren’t explained properly, a few parts feel messy, and I strongly dislike Tiernon and Rorrik. Hoping I feel differently by the end of the book 😬
