There’s moments where I’m so into this book then I’m back to being a little bored

I LOVE when a book hooks me right away

I haven’t been feeling like rating or reviewing the books I’ve been reading but let’s just say I was so glad I had this one ready after One Dark Window! Can’t wait to continue the story 💃🏻

Giving this another chance but doing the audiobook version this time
So far I’m not sure it was a good choice but we shall see

This is messyyy and I love it

Glad this is an audiobook because I’ve been so bored but it also sucks because I don’t like either of the narrators
The characters are supposed to be adults but they act like teens. And the “don’t tell me what to do” was cute/funny the first few times but after the hundredth time it’s annoying as hell

Something about the author’s writing is irritating me and some things that are happening don’t make sense.. struggling to stay interested

I loved this movie growing up and I’m excited to read the book as an adult. So far, the writing is beautiful

I’d like the romance if it made sense to me. We went from it being nonexistent between Meryn and Stark in the first book to them suddenly being obsessed with each other. The “no one talks to her that way” or “give me a name, and I’ll erase it from the earth” makes me roll my eyes. THEY don’t even understand why they feel this way so how can I understand 🥴

I reallyy love this book so far 🥹 physical books are a little more difficult for me to read these days so I’m getting through it a lot slower but I know I could devour this within a day or two if I had the ability to read physical books more often

I decided to start this one because some said this book was better than the first and so far, I agree. I’m really enjoying it and I like the new people who have been introduced. The mystery around Fía and this new world are also very intriguing so I’m hopeful!

Are the books I’m reading the problem or am I the problem? I’m feeling so unimpressed and drained lately
