I'm not even thinking about the book now, I'm remembering all the stuff that happens in future books. Little moments of seeing future Joscelin come put and I just have lots of warm fuzzies.

Yall I just started Chap 7 and this book feels endless! I gave it 3stars originally because I didn't remember much about it to make it stand out when I 1st got GR and I love other Kathleen Woodiwiss work. But this...is so long winded for no reason it seems!

I swear I was at 70% last week and thought "I'm gonna knock this out tomorrow no problem". Hahahaha

Paradise's second cousin, aka Beline might be the girl for the warrior Savhage that got lost in the Old Country and finally comes to Caldwell in the BDB book Lover Unveiled*.

Its reading like a mystery and I'm not a fan of those. Might not finish.

How did I forget Cadwell had a serial killer?!

I get the torturd artist thing and being mad at the world but this guy is not making me root for him in any situation.

Really enjoying this book but others need to be finished first.

I remember some of what happened with the comics and it seems like this book is after the movie version and the tv show. Events and people are different in those versions so I'm not sure how I'm gonna like it. Still BTVS related so it should be good.

Glad I can pick this back up. Richard and Shota had their talk and things are progressing similar differently than the show but I like it.

At this point I can firmly state that I won't be reading anymore of Ad Hudler's books. Non black people should not be comfortable saying the n-word like Lincoln is with anyone. He's done so in an email to Violet's school but I can dismiss that as him make a point. Once to the teacher he wrote the email to and just now at Hooters talking to Rod. Its horrible.

Lincoln has made his second "women and truck" observation and its once again misogynistic in nature.

Linc is upset his wife wanted him to attend a party she planned; its for adults. You would think the man would try to make friends aside from people he has to pay for remodeling.

2. You can read a language and understand just fine without being able to speak it.

Lincoln should have had an honest talk with Jo about what he wants to do at home way before now. Littlw changes can happen with no discussion but he's really going down the rabbit hole and expects her to not wonder what is going on with all these changes.

I've noticed this author draws on important civil rights and black historical figures to try to make points and it really comes off as inappropriate. The opinion about Harper Lee's book is one thing that screams "white privilege" and Violet thinking the MLK dream speech applies to a soda situation is very downgrading.

Okay so we're on psycho level now.

This section feels like its trying to be special or groundbreaking thought but it comes off as "they still don't know how handle their roles in the home after more than a decade".

Maybe in some parts of the country people still say "wiggers" but that mess stopped in the midwest back in the early 2000s at the latest because its literally the combination of white and the n-word with the r. All acknowledged that n-word with the r is racist and hateful language. Please tell me this stops here.

Other books in the way of reading this but this series is definitely worth a read so far. Lots of people to keep straight but this isn't my first ensemble cast story.

Schooltracher is named Rupert Gillis and my first thought it has to be pronouced like Giles (J-eye-ills) #BuffyReference

What time period is this set? Either this is an Amish community (doubtful as it hasn't been mentioned or it's from the prairie times. Wish the book preview and online blurbs had mentioned it wasn't modern that's part of why the "she missing but returns" angle drew me.

Why bring up someone named Chashiv on one page then mention someone else named Chavis on the next page? The similar names and titles gets so confusing.

Alright I'm not hating this book (although humdrums isn't my favorite word being used for non-special people) but I really don't want to keep reading or read the second book. It's just not for me but it is well written. Gonna finish it this weekend-goal.

I am really enjoying this book. Alot of dialogue which I find different than most books as they usually deal with character perspective and events with little dialogue outside of the main characters and their interactions. I enjoy the humor and can see how Virvain has to do mental focus slaps to get back on track.

I get why Nettles intially went into hiding with Sheapstealer but every so often I feel like she could've come from the cave and blended in with the smallfolk. The dragon wouldn't be able to come out until the end of The Dance but she could've had a normal-ish life after The Queen and Daemon were gone.

Renata keeps being mentioned as the horrible memory but what has been done for the done for the girl? Is there someone taking care of her bring in a coma it seems. If nothing else try to fix what you broke Selene!
