The characters in this YA romantasy are so believable: equal measures brave, uncertain, and blooming into their full selves. No overpowered fae here - thank goodness for that, I am not in the mood. Even the gods are fallible and can be tricked.

After so much pain and necessary violence.. A love story! Definitely the hope i needed for these characters.

Wow this book is super intense. I'm really glad for a large cast of characters though because each one has so much trauma and changing it up helps to keep me going.

In the latter bit of part 2, I feel as though I've been in the middle of a war for so long... The horror. Like being back in Kristin Hannah's The Women, except the love story is way better.

I'm team Dramione now. I was skeptical, but.. here we are.

Fourth Wing fans: remember the interrogation chamber in Iron Flame? But make it the whole book. And she falls in love with her captor.. 😂 😭

I love a man with big plans, but Kelsier is a bit on the nose with them. He also seems a bit too perfect... very suspicious.

At least the FMC Vin has the balls to act like a flesh and blood human!

The narrator's voice is giving me major ick and is very distracting.. I will try to keep going though!

I'm enjoying the sexy mate time but damn.. this book could have used some editing on the first half. The cause of the FMC's mysterious disease was so predictable from start- so the unending disease progression was real tedious.

So entertaining so far. I love the narrative voice. This makes you look at villains and heroes a bit differently, by design!

We can all stand to all ourselves, "Are we the baddies?"

Really good so far.. Just so immersive, I love visiting the magical world full of folk spirits together with Vasya.
