These characters are so fierce, so vivid as they manifest their supernatural powers - only accessible now that they are beyond their childbearing and prime working years. This mystery/adventure fantasy has me hooked. It's a great ride so far and is showing signs that it might have a hugely satisfying ending. Another round, please!
