Two big plot events, bam-bam! Very welcome, but that was 10 percent ago, and now we’re back to dinner parties/clubs/being hit on and fawned over by literally everyone. And Sam, the single dimensional character, is gone.

Not even a glimmer of plot yet. Dinner parties, club outings, work drama...in a protected-witness cop story. A chapter and a half to establish the point that Jory’s BOSS is a crazy-chick magnet? The character of Sam is solid gold. The rest of this mishmash got absolutely nothin’.

This has a very ambitious setup, with several intriguing lines of plot. Remains to be seen whether they will all lead somewhere that makes sense. Certainly has its hooks in me so far.

This is 96% smut with glimmers of emotion and character development trying to sneak in around the edges. It's beautifully written and thoroughly enjoyable so far.

uilty, GUILTY pleasure. So much wrong in this one: lying, cheating, dubious consent, rampant misogyny, grammatical issues. And absolutely unputdownable. Scorching, endearing, compulsively readable. I need to do penance. AFTER I finish it.

Thoroughly enjoying this one. The style is extremely dense... 100 pages for an encounter that takes a few hours. All feelings, no action (except smut). Not for everybody, but the characters have engrossed me.
