What? again? Yes. again.
I wanted to try actually rereading one of these books to get that experience. *nodds*

trust Elziabeth Gaskell to make me cry AGAIN

well, if I'm trying to look on the bright side, at least some of the characters got death scenes.

"what a tangled web we weave..."

For being this early into the book, I'm feeling unusually worked up about it.
But I also saw a twist that makes me so happy.

Honestly, the tension has got high enough my less action oriented brain wants a break

so far, so great

I have some rather strong opinions atm, but I'll probably save them for when I finish.

honestly, I'd consider dnfing this because it's not been helping my mood.

I've been waiting for this

any progress is progress right? *starts wondering if Tolstoy would see it that way*

*has guesses about where these arcs are going XD*

only 90% more to go!

I'm partly wondering if I'm overreacting to all this unchaporond time indoors or not.
But also, they're in London and he wanted to shake her hand. (North and South talked about that XD)

...and yes, I am aware that this is not my common reading choice XD

I'm glad we get to see the guy, who I believe is the MC, quite early on in the book.

at this point I feel like this could also be called "Mary Bennet's Sob Story"

Before I mark this as done, i just want to say I saw smth coming and I'm happy about it XD

I'm starting to have some jumbledly mixed feelings on this too XD

This dynamic is intersting though

I feel like I should have something very witty to say but I don't really.

I'm gkad we have a gentleman here 🙃

Well, the intro wasn't a pain and the main girl is yet to drive me up a wall, so far so good.
