This sounded much better in the description than it is in reality. 70% done and the whole point of the book is just getting started. Really poorly executed.

Never read anything like this. It's challenging but unique and hilarious.

I love King Arthur but this is giving serious DNF vibes. We shall see.

Surprised how fast I'm jamming through this book!

60% through, don't care if I finish.

This is like an Italian version of "In Cold Blood" - there's a lot to it, including the city of Rome being almost its own character and the impact of technology on a story like this. It's quite good.

Thus far I certainly don't find this a masterpiece to rival Mystic River or any of his other books. It's meh for me.
