Things really picking up now, Otah has been living a secret life, revealed by maati and told to Liat. The sad trade is going ahead, curious to see why and what happens there, seems like a big deal to the Kai.

Very mysterious start. Very strong story, world and character building. Prologue was cool, hopefully Orat makes an appearance now in the future scene. Seems there and trouble amongst the high families with this pregnancy. Curious to see where Maati goes.

Been a while, good to be back, Darrow was in the money about what happened to the Rim, when it is revealed who knows. Cool that Diomedes is on board. Just when everything was looking good the whore pink fucked it up, they defeated the Volk for the moment, and got one with them, mending that relationship began, then the whore pink got them captured by the Rim Sons, wtf.

Did not see that coming, Atalantia is just one step ahead of Lysander, really fucked him and the Rim up. Sucks that Darrow and Servo finally made it back to mars and got ordered to leave, curious to see what their plan is now that Quick turned them down, also very gay if quick. I like that Lyria is now with them, will add a good character to the dynamic.

Lysander sacrifices Glirastes by standing up to Atalantia, didn’t see the happening. He now has Phobos but has been poisoned, who the fuck and what the fuck. Don’t entirely see Virginias reasoning by agreeing to a treaty and sacrifices Phobos but I’m sure there is a reason.

Cool to see Lyria becoming something after everything. Love seeing Lysander put in his place by Atalantia, hilarious. The political tension is building big time for an all out war. Curious to see when Volsung makes his appearance, I reckon Pax will have a big part is air born warfare.

Political tension is building between Lysander and the society, and the Rim, crazy they couldn’t put the difference aside to take down the republic. I have missed servo dearly, his personality is great with Darrow and hilarious with Cassius present. Great start to this book.

I have been waiting too long for this, Darrow reunited with Cassius, leaving the soldiers and his family behind to get the goblin. Lysander making good with the people of mercury and looking for allies. Just know this is going to be banger.

Finally getting some good action packed reading, seems to have taken to long to build up for what is left in the book.

A lot of content has been revealed, the reason behind the electric people, taken over by the NSA. Turning into a really exciting read, lots of unknowns, Swain being presumed dead and finding his way back into the labyrinth. The other contestants. Fun read and keen to finish.

Very overdrawn build up to the main character using his amp, seems like not enough book left to make it worth the long build up, the tension boiled over because a kid got hurt, seem like an overreaction tbh.

Picked up the pace big time, very unique characters Swain is fighting off, very unique concept. Kind of combining a range of themes into the one, don’t know how I feel about it, not my typical Matt Reilly read this far.

Finally got some context, very insight of Selexin to explain what the fuck is happening. Seems like a very cool concept and keen to see the contest play out and what Swain will do.

Curious to see the capabilities of the implant and hope it’s good.
