Very interesting but VERY long! I have to return it when I’m only at chapter 50 out of 69. I’ll get back to it eventually to finish. The waitlist on Lalo by is weeks!

I’m digging it so far! I had no idea about the many adventures and jobs he held throughout his life.

This should be required reading for every human starting at age, I dunno, 15?

My friend gave a glowing recommendation to read this series, so I’m embarking on the journey!

My dad suggested rereading this before I read James by Percival Everett, since the new novel is based on a character in Huck Finn. Guess which character? 😀

Georgia Hardstark recommended it on MFM podcast on 9/5/24. I listened to it over the next two days, and when I returned it, there were 9 people waiting. They won’t be disappointed.

Putting it on hold for now

I’m still reading this very important account of the events leading to the January 6, 2021, insurrection and what happened in the aftermath. This should be required reading.
