It’s been a while since I read the first four books, so seeing everyone back together felt like a little family reunion 🥹 Might be time for a reread of the series.

It's been at least 3 years since I finished Gloam, so it's taking me awhile to remember all the characters and plot 😅 But, I really didn't want to reread the whole series again before reading the 5th installment. The reviews for this one are super positive and I want see what the hype is all about. Honestly, I found Wyn to be really good and the rest sort of lacking, so I hope this is a step up! 🤞

I’ll admit I was a little hesitant going in, worried this book might be a bit mundane. The best friends to lovers trope has never really being my favorite. But, I’m happy to report I’m absolutely devouring it! The sharp wit and banter bring the characters to life, and the story is both fun and heart-clenching. ❤️

It helps that the cover art resembles the lovely Ton Heukels. 😍

I was getting pretty close to putting this down, but I'm so glad I kept going 😊 This novel has so much rich fantasy lore that some may adore, but I sometimes find it overwhelming. However, now we are really getting to the heart of the story and getting to the enemies-to-friends bit. lol
Now if only Damien could remove that infernal stick from his ass 🩶

Strong start—I’m already giggling 🤭 Amma is adorable, and Damien is emotionally constipated. I love them 💗

If I had to describe the word 'extra' it would be in the form of Tyrannus Basilton Grimm-Pitch 💅

I’m loving this story so far! The gentle (and spicy 🌶) romance between Creep and Angel is beautiful—delicate, healing, and shaped by their shared trauma. They really feel like two halves of a whole. 🥹
Hoping to finish it this weekend when I have some alone time… definitely not the easiest read for public spaces. 😅

Only on chapter 10, but I'm convinced that everyone needs a 'Creep' in their life. 🥹

So far, the story feels like a tale as old as time—but I’m still thoroughly enjoying it. The concept of the Starmaker and the weight of his responsibilities is fascinating, and I adore the charming world that has been built around him. ☀️

I'm only on chapter four and I already know I will adore this novel! 😍
