Omg, I'm halfway through the chapter, and I was not expecting that development in the case, nor him catching them in the act.

Like… Will she continue to lie and ruin the weirdly cute relationship they've built, or will she finally come clean?

And yes, I am typing this out like I'm not about to finish the chapter before I go to sleep.

Eeee, they're finally done pretending. Ah, I love it.

Just finished another book, so now I can completely revert my focus back to this. Now that we've found out who the leak is, I'm curious to see who's behind all the sabotage.

Reading from both POVs is so nice. I love seeing them both lie to themselves about each other.

And as I suspected, of course, she would be okay with leaving someone else to suffer from his raft.

It's one thing to hire her to protect yourself, but I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing what she'll be going through. And to say that she deserves it because she's been to jail? Nina, of all people, should know that not everything is as it seems. Andy made sure that it was the opposite.

They both want each other so badly, but are their worst enemies. I get it from Josie's standpoint. She deals with shitty, disgusting man more than any woman should. And I also get it from Rowan's standpoint.

I can't believe I'm halfway through the book already. A little bit cliché at times, but I'm loving it. I can see myself rereading it in the future.

Wow… I was ready to stop reading this book completely. But I pushed through and I don’t regret it.

Once the twist unraveled, I found it lackluster. Mostly because I was just so over this damn book. But the more I read from Nina’s POV, the more I understood why she acted the way she did. The only thing I wouldn’t be able to do is subject someone else to his torture. But we’ll see how it plays out.

Ah, I finally got back into reading this after well over a year. I ended up restarting it because I felt lost after continuing from my original place. And I'm so glad I did. There were parts I completely forgot about, and it felt like I was reading it for the first time.

I loveee their development and how gentle and protective they are of each other. I can't wait to see how their story continues to unfold.

Well… that just happened. I can't say I feel as bad. I completely understand. But lord, at the same time I do just a bit.

Karma is a bitch though, so I guess we'll see how this plays out.

I've been on Millie's side the entire time, besides a few stupid moments. But now? That's crossing a line, and as much as I'd like Nina to choke, I can't even defend that. This is quite literally asking for trouble, whether or not something even happens.

Not too long ago you thought she had hurt him, and now you're spending the night with him? A rock has more sense.

I'm giggling and kicking my feet. Yes!!! I am loving the slow burn, the teasing, the back and forth, the denial!!! On both ends. Ah

I actually saw this coming. I figured they'd eventually start to notice each other, and with the way Nina acts, I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner for him.

Nonetheless, things are about to get ever messier. She hates when he's even in the presence of another woman. So if she catches on that he's actively avoiding Millie, or suddenly looks & acts a certain way around her… yikes

I love how we, and by "we" I mean Millie. Is completely skipping past the part where not only Cecelia, but Nina completely lied about her daughter having a deadly peanut allergy. *???*

Honestly, it's a good thing she can't get pregnant. With the way she reacts to any slight inconvenience, has absolutely no respect for anyone, and the child she does have obviously needs help & more attention.

Nina is the most infuriating MC I've ever read. The sheer lack of respect she shows anyone around her gives me a headache. Even though I'm getting through the chapters quickly because they're quite short, this is going to be a long read with her.

If Millie doesn't get a chance to literally & figuratively knock her down a peg, I'm going to be more than pissed.

I'm getting the feeling that Nina is beyond crazy, and I'm only on the 4th chapter.

I also can't wait to find out why Millie was in jail.

I knew the whole "keeping the relationship a secret" was going to weigh in eventually, but jesus. I didn't expect it to be that depressing, or maybe it's just how I'm perceiving it at this point in my life.

The book was so light & carefree up until these last 3ish chapters. Completely understandable. I'm curious to see how they make it to the point of going public.

"But you can call out Rowan when you come." Okay… so might already be hook because??? That would've gotten me to Josie.

I think I'll get through this one a lot faster than Heated Rivalry. This one, so far, is a bit calmer in my opinion, or at least it's starting off that way.

I'm liking it so far, no calls for complaints. Slightly regretting reading the second book first, but it'll be interesting to see how their relationship develops, since I already know how their story ends.

Once again..! I wasn't expecting that. I knew eventually Shane's parents were going to find out, or he would tell them. But jfc, I did not see that coming. I'm all caught up in the kissing scene, and hating the fact that the book is about to end, that I completely forgot about this possibility. Nonetheless, I love that Ilya was immediately supportive.

I might just shed a tear. They finally said it. Omfg, yes!

I have grown so protective over them. They deserve the world and everything good. This will forever be one of my favorites now. The slow build up was everything and more. I can't wait to see what unfolds in these last chapters.

And I'll say it once again. I don't want this book to end.

I seriously don't want this book to end. Ironic because of how much sex is in this; it brings me so much comfort.

I love how they're so comfortable with each other now. Not afraid to ask about little things or the big things. And just being there for one another. I love even more that they're just waiting for the other to finally say the words. My heart will absolutely break if they don't end up together in the end.

"and on top of everything, I'm pretty sure I'm in love with you and I don't know what to do about it." Um… HELLO?!

Once again, Ilya is surprising me. What do you mean he fell… and harder might I add, than SHANE?! My jaw actually dropped, I was not expecting him to say that. Admit he likes him, or is starting to? Yes, 100%. But love? This is a whole new ballpark.

Ah, they're both finally admitting to themselves that they want each other.

Ilya being jealous, and Shane openly admitting he likes men. Sharing normal conversations, joking around, I love it.

I'm figuratively at the edge of my seat every time I read a new chapter, bracing myself. I can see this becoming a comfort book.

Ilya's penthouse? Eye contact during sex? Inviting Shane to stay? Soft kisses? COOKING???

I truly was not expecting Ilya to make the first move, but it makes complete sense. Shane would never think of pulling something like that because he knows Ilya would turn him down in a heartbeat.

Ah, my heartstrings are being yanked on. They're both falling so hard for each other, but are too afraid to admit it out loud.
