It's one thing to hire her to protect yourself, but I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing what she'll be going through. And to say that she deserves it because she's been to jail? Nina, of all people, should know that not everything is as it seems. Andy made sure that it was the opposite.

Wow… I was ready to stop reading this book completely. But I pushed through and I don’t regret it.
Once the twist unraveled, I found it lackluster. Mostly because I was just so over this damn book. But the more I read from Nina’s POV, the more I understood why she acted the way she did. The only thing I wouldn’t be able to do is subject someone else to his torture. But we’ll see how it plays out.

Well… that just happened. I can't say I feel as bad. I completely understand. But lord, at the same time I do just a bit.

I've been on Millie's side the entire time, besides a few stupid moments. But now? That's crossing a line, and as much as I'd like Nina to choke, I can't even defend that. This is quite literally asking for trouble, whether or not something even happens.

I actually saw this coming. I figured they'd eventually start to notice each other, and with the way Nina acts, I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner for him.
Nonetheless, things are about to get ever messier. She hates when he's even in the presence of another woman. So if she catches on that he's actively avoiding Millie, or suddenly looks & acts a certain way around her… yikes

I love how we, and by "we" I mean Millie. Is completely skipping past the part where not only Cecelia, but Nina completely lied about her daughter having a deadly peanut allergy. *???*
Honestly, it's a good thing she can't get pregnant. With the way she reacts to any slight inconvenience, has absolutely no respect for anyone, and the child she does have obviously needs help & more attention.

Nina is the most infuriating MC I've ever read. The sheer lack of respect she shows anyone around her gives me a headache. Even though I'm getting through the chapters quickly because they're quite short, this is going to be a long read with her.
If Millie doesn't get a chance to literally & figuratively knock her down a peg, I'm going to be more than pissed.
