Guys I am struggling lolol

“So much of my favorite literature orients in the direction of beauty. But surely any true appreciation of beauty would admit, exclaim even, that no description of the moon, no matter how stunning, how true, reflects as much beauty back into the world as a missile obliterating a family in their home takes out of it.”

Rarely have I been so enamored with a book as I am with this one.

Tandem reading is fun but can get tricky when your partner falls asleep so early! Reading ahead would be a betrayal… right? 👀

“When those dying are deemed human enough to warrant discussion, discussion must be had. When they’re deemed nonhuman, discussion becomes offensive, an affront to civility.”

I think this may end up being my first ‘six-star’ book.

Tandem reading with my fiancé 💕

Has anyone ever changed how they rate books as they've read more and more? I'm starting to feel like the way I've been rating books isn't cutting it, because two different books I've rated 4 stars can feel so different from each other.
