I do feel like I've been reading this forever. Wanted to finish it by the end of the month and I gave myself 5 days but I'm barely 60% in.

Surprisingly enjoying this so far. The audiobook narrator is quite good.

I really don't know how the author is going to turn this around for me because the way this male author is reacting to criticism is so unbelievably unattractive I don't think I'll ever be able to root for them as a couple.

This is very much not a cutesy book. These two people are legitimately trying to ruin each others careers.

Don't always love publishing meta books like this but there's definitely potential with the romance.

This is my second time trying to read this. Last time just didn't feel right. Hoping I enjoy this, because I've got high expectations.

Okay where is Rhysdon??? Is it a made up city? Is it in England? Because there's places in the city called Regent Square and Kings Cross - very English!!! I mean, a character moves to France, so it would make sense but NONE OF THE PLACES SHE TALKS ABOUT ARE REAL ENGLISH PLACES????

Im just not sure how the grand evil plan is possible logistically. You'd think that the country would of discovered the thousands of dead kids by now?

I will concede that the first book wasn't perfect but I remember it being enjoyable. This is distractingly bad right now.
