Since I got lost I had to go back like 2 chapters and reread so I didn’t make much progress but I understand a little more.

I was actually enjoying the reading and hoping to get further but then I managed to accidentally play 5 hours of a starwars game oopsie

It’s SOOOOO hard reading this book knowing that Oathbringer is out there waiting to be started but I committed myself to finishing this book before starting it

Pretty good but sometimes I don’t think things register in my head as well as they should because the politics are either poorly explained or I haven’t given it the attention I should

one chapter of this book was 3%, short like 20 minute read chapter. The other book it took over an hour of reading for a single percent

Totally neglected this book to finish WoR. Let’s see how fast I can finish this. I want my whole physical TBR done by the new year

I managed to have this book going all day. Either audiobook or physical it was going ALL day. So good so good. But god damn I still have nearly 200 pages to go

Ok I was right. There were 4. He won but with some help that wasn’t illegal I guess. Now I have to spend a long time in interludes before we get back to the regularly scheduled program

Reforming the knights radiance and having Alokar (idk how to spell it) is the first one. Does this mean he has the power of the knights radiance now???

OR he defeats all of them and it’s like wow wtf but that probably won’t be for a few chapters so guess I’ll have to wait

So we just learned a little bit ago that Shard blades can be crafted. Unknown how but they can

Now Adolin has wagered all of his family’s shard plate and blades for a duel with multiple enemies. It’s set up for us to think two people vs him but I think it’s gonna be like 4-5 vs Adolin.

I think they’re gonna lose all of the shards and then have for craft new ones

I thought that she got the shard blade form her brother, but that was wrong.

Amaram wields the shard blade her brother used, and because he stole the shard blade from Kaladin, it means kaladin killed shallan’s brother

Fear this will be a problem in the future

Kinda was just informed that the highest ranking individuals and the best soldiers who bare weapons and armor gifted from ancient gods SHIT THEMSELVES in the armor sometimes during battle on purpose

Shallan lowkey has a cool ass power and it’s gonna be so much fun to see what she can do with it later

I was kinda sad that after the last 2 chapters he went back to Shallan’s POV but I should not underestimate this man. It was so good. Knew she had a blade since book one and she finally use it AHH. Now time for random interludes.

Multiple POV per chapter means that shits about to go down or they’re finally about to meet up

This is so so good. Just an adventure. What has happened?? Nothing really. How many questions do I have. Like 10000000 more than when I started reading today.

I think it’s confirmed that Shallan has a shard blade but she’s too scared to use it

The main “enemy” has been humanized and given 2 chapters of them behind the scenes. It’s sad but they cannot stay enemies for long now

Knowing Brandon hes probably gonna just kill them all at the end of the book

Also, I feel like the goal of reading this is not to get to an ending, it’s an adventure to read. There’s been a big slow moving plot but it’s still so good

By the end of this book I better know what it’s about

Now the furthest I’ve been in this book I think. Slow going. The audio book makes it better but I still don’t like the style in which he writes. Idk how to explain it. But I am committed because it’s not a bad story

I think one of my favorite things is the interludes where we follow people outside of the story for just a chapter. Brings the world to life a little more

So many speculations and theories I cannot wait to see how wrong I am and how he twists these things.

Like the parshendi (idk how to spell them) may be able to transform and breath storm light

What is the old magic

Does Shallan have an evil spren is Kal has a good one

If shallan’s spren communicates in a rhythmic tone with humming, does this make it related to the parshendi

Ok so I dont think she has a shard blade but she is def hiding something

Also we learned that shard blades can be loaned, and the original owner can summon it back when they want. I wonder if Dalinar did this when he gave his away and it’s gonna come down to a battle and he’s gonna be like sucker and steal the blade back unlikely but sounds fun

Also apparently no one has plot armor- sad

I think he’s lowkey hinting at the fact that Shallan has a shard blade. First time I thought was just a fluke but I’m certain she has one and I think she killed her father with or for it

I think I zoned out and missed something important but that’s ok
