So good so far. Couldn’t put it down up till this point.

One thing I know from chapter 1 is that the author is good with words. That's a promising sign for now.

Short read. Similar to other books of its genre that plays on sense of loss and reconciliation, this tries but was executed a bit too simply for my taste. As this is a translated work, I'm not sure how much the translation could have factored into it too. I have to say, the language and tone in the first third really sounds like it was written by a teenager, though it improves to a more palatable standard after. Why?
