Okay, Dorian and Maeve?? WTF. I really hope there is some alternative motive here because I was already in thin ice with Dorian and now he wants to marry Maeve and be allies with her … WTF I can’t with this guy.

Okay it’s heating up and I’m ready for the action. Stoked Aelin is back. Not fully herself but getting there. Loved how she got rings for her and Rowan. Manon is a badass. Really like how she has realized she can be good. Makes me emotional how she speaks to the other witches about how they can be good.

Aelin is back! Yay. Finally getting back into the swing and action of things but honestly tired of all the back and forth POVs but I understand they are all fighting different battles.

I know exciting things are coming but it’s been hard to get into after the drag of Tower of Dawn.

Okay cool developments and now there is a bit more action. But honestly the only thing getting me through is wanting to read Kingdom of Ash…

I don’t know … pretty overwhelmed with all the new characters and a bit bored. Wish I had known about the tandem read because I just want to get to Kingdom of Ash and see what happens with Aelin and the others. Still cool to see the Southern Continent and how Chaol is healing. Yrene’s character development is cool too.

Pleasantly surprised at how intriguing the story line is. Wasn’t initially that interested in the side story but cool to see how many more part to the Erawan lore there is. Also cool to learn about the people of the Southwrn continent as they have been mentioned throughout the series but we are finally seeing and experiencing their way of life.

Honestly was apprehensive at first when I realized it was a side story almost but it is cool to have avail back in the loop. Also cool to learn more about the southern continent and see how the magic injury is going to affect Chaol.

Incredible. Every other chapter there is a twist I never saw coming. All the entwined stories are so multifaceted and intriguing, can’t get enough of it. The war development leaves me on the edge of my seat, even when I think it is slowing down. Love Aelin’s humor and Lysandra’s character development is great.

Amazing! Story development is great and love the new relationships between Aeidon and Gavriel, Lasandra and Aeidon and Aelin and Rowan.

The story is developing pretty well and I am a bit confused with names. But very engaged in the plot at the moment.
